Mga Pilipinong nakatira malapit sa California Wildfire inalerto ng DFA

Inalerto ng Department of Foreign Affirs (DFA) sa pamamagitan ni Sec Alan Peter Cayetano ang mga Pilipinong naninirahan malapit sa California wildfire na mag ingat at sumunod sa mga otoridad kung mag utos para lumikas.

Ayon kay Cayetano mahigit sa 100,000 Filipinos an nakatira malait sa lugar. May close monitoring na rin sila sa wilfire sa Southern California.

Sinabi ng Philippine Consulate General sa Los Angeles, na mahigit 115,000 members ng Filipino community ay delikado ang kalagayan dahil sa tatlong wildfires sa estado.

Ayon kay Cayetano, “We join our kababayans in the Philippines and in the United States in praying for the members of the Filipino Community and their neighbors in Ventura and Los Angeles counties that they will be spared from the raging infernos that are threatening their lives and their homes.

“Kababayans affected by the fires should not hesitate to get in touch with the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles if they need assistance,”
